My Experience
I wrote Get Personal: The Importance of Sharing Your Faith Story while my husband, Brian, and I were serving on a church-planting team in Ireland. It was there that I saw how God uses our own stories to connect us to his truths today, just as Jesus did with the parables he told.
Today, in addition to teaching a weekly Bible study and being active in ministry in our church in Texas, I serve the writing community through My Writers’ Connection, where I coach and support authors at every stage of the writing and publishing journey. I am also the director of the Texas Christian Writers’ Conference, a professional gathering designed to equip writers with high-quality training, spiritual encouragement, and meaningful community.
